For more than twenty-four years, Mr. Probus has worked on a wide variety of legal matters, including general contract disputes, business formations, business transactions, commercial and residential construction disputes, mechanic's and materialmen's liens, and real estate and landlord-tenant disputes. Mr. Probus is licensed to practice before all state courts within Texas as well as in the federal courts in the Northern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Mr. Probus is certified in compliance with the Texas Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures Act, Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code, Section 154.052(a).  Mr. Probus has been listed in Who's Who in American Law since 1996. Mr. Probus received his law degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1988.  He went on to serve as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James DeAnda, Chief Judge for the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas in Houston.  After his clerkship, he returned to Austin to the private practice of law.  In 1997, Mr. Probus formed his own law firm.

Benjamin “Ben” N. Palisano
Associate
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Trinity University, Ben went to work for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. After working for the State of Texas, Ben went on to attend law school at the Texas Tech University School of Law and received his degree in 2011. Ben has accumulated a wide array of legal experience. While in law school, Ben gained invaluable civil litigation experience clerking for an experienced plaintiff’s attorney. In addition to his work in private practice, Ben learned what life was like on the other side of the bench while serving as an intern for the Honorable Sam R. Cummings, Judge for the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas in Lubbock.
Since coming to the Probus Law Firm, Ben’s practice has included work preparing commercial leases and secured transactions, negotiating settlements on behalf of clients, engaging in the foreclosure of mechanic’s and materialman’s liens, resolving contract disputes, and general business litigation.
